Loyalsock Cares Hurricane Harvey Relief

Lycoming County schools, churches, businesses, community organizations , and individuals are partnering to make a difference in the area destroyed by Hurricane Harvey two weeks ago. We are hoping to fill at least one tractor-trailer full of supplies to help a needy school district in the Houston area get its students back to school and some form of normalcy. From Monday, September 11 – Monday, October 2.

Drop off

M – F, 730 – 330 PM at all area school lobbies

M – F 630 – 8 PM at Loyalsock Township School Bus Garage (right behind the middle school)

Sat 8 – Noon at Loyalsock Township School Bus Garage (right behind the middle school)

Supplies needed…

Educational Supplies

Backpacks, notebooks, paper, art supplies, crayons, pens, pencils, markers, lunch boxes, pencil boxes, scissors, water bottles, student books, picture books, flashcards, calculators, glue sticks, stencils, bulletin boards, dry erase boards and markers, educational games, staplers and tape dispensers, labels, envelopes, etc.

Safety Supplies

Bandaids, bandages, neosporin, hand sanitizer, clorox wipes, bottled water, bleach, gloves, fans, trash bags, spray bottles, etc.

Monetary Donations

Checks made payable to Loyalsock Township School District or cash and change at area schools. Online donations can be made online at
