We love Pastor Gary (even if he is a Steelers fan). You will meet few people in your life who are as down to earth and honest as gary Runtas. In the time He has been pastor of Light and life the church has experienced exponential growth. We contribute it to Gary's passion for Christ and love of his church family. He's fun loving, approachable, open and a great guy.
Father of five, husband and great friend, each Pastor Gary offers a message that is not only Biblically based but filled with worldly experience. "Love the sinner, Hate the Sin." is a seemingly simple philosophy but one we oft' forget. Gary doesn't and has helped many to know Christ by loving the person.
During service Pastor Gary enjoys teaching the kids by using Christian Illusions. His most impressive was making a peep appear from nowhere during an Easter service.
Pastor Gary keeps regular office hours Tuesday through Friday and is available by appointment by contacting him at the church, 570-322-0143 or via e-mail.
Light & Life regularly hosts socials open to members, guest and the public at our "fire pit by the creek." This is an excellent time to get to know Gary and the church family.

MInistry.The Light & Life Children's Ministry is the fastest growing ministry within the church. That means parents do a lot of socializing. Contact Pastor Gary to find out how you can get involved with the Light and Life Children's Ministry.
Koinonia
Small Groups. Our Koinonia small groups are a time of Fellowship, Bible Study, Prayer and Encouragement in the strengthening of ones faith.
